West Ham United Foundation
In partnership with the Prince’s Trust, West Ham United Foundation are providing training and employment opportunities for young people aged 18-30 who are interested in finding employment in the health and social care sector and supply chains.
The programme is available to young people who do not have any experience or qualifications in the sector, along with young people who do have qualifications and need support gaining work experience and employment in the sector.
The programme is designed to give young people the skills and opportunities to succeed in a health and social care workplace. This includes access to:
- Coaching – to identify goals and support needs, and to create a development plan.
- Pre employment training programme – for skills development.
- Work insights – workplace visits, guest speakers, work experience, and more.
- Employability skills – support with CVs, job applications, interview skills.
- Volunteering and social action – to build confidence and professional skills.
- Ongoing mentoring – from professionals working in health and social care roles.
