With its huge choice of places to meet and places to eat, it’s fun a la carte for you, your friends and family.

For entertainment, look no further. There are great theatres, roof top cinemas; places to dance, places to sing, places to do anything – like the Box Park in Shoreditch.

And if that’s not enough, the O2 and West End attractions are all within easy reach, thanks to our great transport links.

If you fancy something a bit quieter and more relaxing, we’ve got that too – from the River Thames, historic docks, houses, museums and galleries, to the peace and tranquillity of our wonderful parks Wanstead Flats and Epping Forest.

You can also go wild in Walthamstow, at Europe’s biggest urban wetlands. It’s a 211-hectare bird and nature reserve, now open to the public for free.
